Installing Bocce Ball Sand

Spread Bocce Ball Sand evenly over the area at a 1-2" depth or more.  Water the bocce ball sand so that water reaches the bottom layers, but not so much as it puddles.  Compact with tamper or roller.  Grade as needed and compact till desired play surface is achieved. Let dry 24-48 hours.  To change speed or roll of bocce ball use bocce ball top dressing or oyster flour to top layer after install. 

Adding stabilizer: 

Stabilizer can be used to reduce dust and washout in bocce ball sand.  The stabilizer should be blended into the bocce ball sand prior to installing.  Mix 1/4 to 1/2 jar of MIGHTY109 DG Stabilizer to 1 bag (40 LBS) bocce ball sand or 10-12 lbs to 1 ton (15 lbs to 1 yard).  Once mixed, the pathway fines can be installed as instructions above.  Adding too much stabilizer can change the color of bocce ball sand, please use sparingly.
