Kentucky Bluegrass Blends have a finer blade and a softer feel than the fescues. It performs best in the cooler, coastal and mountain climates of California. It keeps a deep dark green color year around and looks best mowed at 1 1/2 inches tall. This is not a deep rooted turf and requires a relatively higher level of maintenance to look its best, but the results can be worth it. Year-around Green color.
